Truth in Taxation hearing scheduled
for august 19th

On June 24th, 2025, the North Ogden City Council voted to approve a Truth in Taxation hearing to propose an increase of tax rates related to the city budget, as follows:

• Sales tax increase of 5.5% from $4,800,000 to $5,064,000.

• Increase in Property tax of an additional $381,018 for a total % increase of 15.51%

• Increase in funding for the Transportation Utility fee of $1,200,000.

The Council approved moving forward with a Truth in Taxation process to adopt a tax rate of .001510 with a total budget of $3,481,018.

* A Truth in Taxation hearing is set to be scheduled for August 19, 2025.
